Last week, we hosted an Open House at our new San Antonio Multi-Specialty Research Hub, welcoming community members, local physicians, industry partners, and prospective research participants to learn more about clinical research and the role it can play in improving community health.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees toured the facility, met our research team, received free health screenings, and joined conversations about how clinical trials help bring new treatments and therapies to patients.
One of the most rewarding moments came when a community member shared that she had been receiving our emails for quite some time and finally decided to stop by to learn more about research. After spending time speaking with our team and Dr. McDonald, she left with a new understanding of clinical trials, and may even qualify for one of our current studies. It's a reminder that building trust and awareness in our communities can make a meaningful difference over time.
