Cold plunging is not always the right tool.
Most people are already running a little too “on” with high stress, tension, and not recovering well.
Adding more stress on top of that doesn’t always help, it can actually keep your system in that same loop.
I will say, there is a time and place for it, especially for inflammation and acute recovery!
But if your sleep is off, you feel wired, or your body won’t relax, it’s usually not the first thing I’d reach for.
Rather than stacking more intensity, the goal is to help your system regulate. That’s where we focus first, and acupuncture/dry needling/cupping are the modalities we use to do that ✨
