For DSP Recognition Week, Kristi Torres, PharmD, our Vice President of Account Management, joined The Arc of Southern Chesapeake’s Navigating Neurodiversity podcast to talk about the important role DSPs and caregivers play in medication management.

At the same time, members of our team are at the ANCOR Policy Summit and Hill Day, joining providers and advocates in supporting policies that strengthen community-based services and the direct support workforce.

A great week connecting with the Texas IDD community! 💙

Our Tarrytown Expocare team was proud to be part of the Texas AAIDD Conference, spending time with providers, professionals, and partners who share our commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We were also excited to host a breakout session, giving us the opportunity to contribute to the education and conversations happening throughout the conference. Sharing knowledge, learning from others, and creating space for meaningful discussion are a big part of why these events matter to us.

And, of course, we loved the conversations at our booth! Thank you to Texas AAIDD and everyone who stopped by to say hello, share what’s happening in your organization, or learn a little more about Tarrytown. We loved seeing so many familiar faces—and meeting some new ones!

10 years. Countless roles. One incredible journey. 🎉

Today, we’re celebrating Corey McMullen’s 10-year anniversary with Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy!

When Corey joined Tarrytown a decade ago, we were a much smaller organization with around 20 employees. He started in Triage before moving into Order Entry and becoming one of the first members of our Onboarding team.

Along the way, Corey’s talent for troubleshooting and technology opened another door — leading him into IT, where his firsthand knowledge of pharmacy operations helped us use our systems more effectively to support our teams and the individuals we serve.

And today, his journey has brought him full circle, back to Operations.

Pharmacy has actually been part of Corey’s life much longer than his 10 years at Tarrytown. He began working in pharmacy at just 16 years old at his grandparents’ local retail pharmacy in Southeast Texas.

But when Corey reflects on the last decade, it isn’t the different roles or responsibilities that stand out most. It’s the people.

“I’ve been very fortunate to work alongside some truly amazing people who genuinely care and want to do good in the world.”

That commitment to one another — and to serving a historically underserved population — has been at the heart of Tarrytown’s growth from the beginning.
Corey, thank you for growing with us, adapting with us, sharing your talents wherever they were needed, and helping make Tarrytown what it is today.
