We are truly honored to share with our comunidad that our beloved founder, Irasema (Las Manos Magicas ), was nominated for this year's Latina Legacy Awards.
This nomination is more than recognition of one woman—it is a reflection of the countless lives she has touched through her unwavering commitment to healing, community, and ancestral wisdom.
Her vision for Birth Comadres has always been about so much more than birth. She has cultivated a space where people are seen, held, and remembered. A community where healing is sacred, relationships are nurtured, and traditional practices are honored with deep respect.
Through her dedication to teaching the sacred medicine of the Rebozo, she is ensuring that this ancestral knowledge continues to live on through the hands and hearts of future practitioners.
