Mental Health Awareness Month is also a reminder that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Anxiety, OCD, and related conditions can make everyday life feel overwhelming, but with the right treatment and support, people can regain their sense of freedom and confidence.

Evidence-based therapies like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) help individuals gradually face fears, reduce compulsions, and build resilience over time.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out for support, this month can be a meaningful time to take that first step.

You deserve care that is compassionate, effective, and grounded in science.

Mental wellness often begins with learning how to stay grounded in the present moment.

When we spend too much time replaying the past or worrying about the future, anxiety can take hold. Developing the ability to return our attention to the present is an important part of many evidence-based therapies and a key component of overall mental wellbeing.

Small steps toward mindfulness and self-awareness can make a meaningful difference over time.

We were honored to sponsor a private screening of An Unquiet Mind at AFS Cinema in Austin earlier this month.

This powerful film explores the lived experience of OCD and anxiety while highlighting the importance of compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. The evening brought together clinicians, community members, and individuals with lived experience for an intimate screening followed by a thoughtful Q&A conversation.

Our founder, Diana, hosted a table before and after the event and joined the post-screening panel alongside the film’s director, Rachel Immaraj, and individuals whose stories are featured in the documentary.

We are grateful to have been part of a meaningful evening centered on awareness, connection, and improving access to effective treatment for OCD and anxiety.

Thank you to the team behind An Unquiet Mind for creating space for these important conversations.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is often misunderstood.

OCD is not about being neat or overly organized. It involves intrusive thoughts and repeated behaviors that are driven by anxiety and distress.

The good news is that effective treatment exists. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is considered the gold standard treatment for OCD and helps people gradually break the cycle of obsessions and compulsions.

If OCD is interfering with your daily life, support is available.
