Life is expensive. 💰💸 I get that. So when it comes to my kids I want to be smart.

I invest in my kids college fund.
I invest in my kids athletic skills.
I invest in my kids academics.

Let’s start investing in their wellbeing.

I’m rolling out options to help counseling fit within budgets. No more rigid weekly sessions. Flexible options to help busy families invest in their kids wellbeing.

This is something I believe in as a mom and a counselor. It’s a gap in our mental health field. So I’m trying to push towards change. Because our kids mental health matters but we can’t do it all. Be on the lookout for a calendar rolling out to self schedule to get your kid plugged in. 🌻🤎

Sometimes our brains are over talking.
I felt sad, I knew the thoughts driving the sadness. Reframing the thoughts felt tiring.
I painted the words instead.

I’m not “healed.” I didn’t arrive at a solution. Not today.
It did lift the feeling enough to be able to get out from under it.

Painting my feeling:

✔️brought awareness to the feeling and helped me identify it when it felt vague and non specific
✔️pulled the feeling away from me. I am not sad. I felt sad. Here is me and here is my feeling. They are not fused together permanently.
✔️it gave me enough of a lift/energy to begin to explore the story I was telling myself. The thoughts driving the emotion, and a framework for exploring alternative stories.
✔️ it regulated me, soothed me, prevented a shut down.

Starting May 1st, I am opening up my books, onboarding new clients (for the first time in a long time) & looking to work with creative souls (kids & teens but adults you have space too) who are not needing weekly counseling but still deserve a space for themselves.

Let’s paint & together create the story that empowers us, not discourage us. 🎨👏🏻💕

Not every kid needs weekly therapy.
But a lot of kids need a supportive space to land from time to time.

I have hired my oldest as my social media manager. I really believe that believing in people + recognizing their skills and talents and abilities + encouraging people to pursue their dreams is what we all need.

Happiness shows up when life feels easy and light. Joy sticks around even in the messy, heavy moments — because it comes from meaning, connection, and being true to who we are.
