✨ Member Spotlight: Diana Acosta Pozo, MD

Meet Diana Acosta Pozo, MD, an Internal Medicine PGY3 at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Knapp Medical Center, and the Texas ACP Resident Director for the Southwest Region.

During medical school, Dr. Acosta Pozo discovered a passion for entrepreneurship while managing an aquaponic system. That experience taught her the value of understanding how individual pieces work together to solve complex problems—an approach she now applies every day in Internal Medicine.

For her, caring for patients with multiple comorbidities means looking at the whole picture, developing thoughtful solutions, and building lasting relationships through compassionate care.

Thank you, Dr. Acosta Pozo, for all you do to serve your patients and the Texas ACP community!
