CEU-approved course here at the Center for Healing and Regenerative Medicine.

Join Tonya Sauls, PT and Senior MPS Instructor, for a two-day hands-on seminar on MPS Therapy: combining cellular-level microcurrent with acupuncture, osteopathy, and modern neurology to address chronic pain at its source.

You'll learn to:
-Assess spinal neuro function in the neck and lower back
-Identify how radiculopathy and dermatomes drive distal pain
-Apply electro-therapy frequencies to regulate sympathetic stress
-Treat both back and neck pain using an integrative protocol - Identify how pain is influenced by the autonomic nervous system - Vagal nerve protocols for optimal health

This method is scientifically published to deliver 70–80% pain relief.

Your shoulder pain might not start in your shoulder.

The body moves as a connected chain, not a collection of separate parts. A weak hip can show up as shoulder pain. A stiff thorax can show up as neck pain. CHARM's approach starts by finding where the breakdown is actually happening, not just where you feel it.

CHARM is one of just a few clinics in Texas offering Redcord®, a Norwegian suspension therapy that off-loads your body weight to create a pain-free environment where "sleepy stabilizers", the deep muscles that shut down after injury, surgery, or years of compensation, can finally reconnect.

Weak-link testing pinpoints exactly where in that chain things gave way. Then Redcord retrains your body to stabilize and move the way real life actually demands, not just repeated repetitions.

What makes it work is the offloading itself. Take enough body weight out of the equation and pain, fear, and guarding lose their grip, and for the first time in months or years, the deep stabilizers get a real shot at firing without compensation running the show.

It's why Redcord meets patients at every level, from someone rebuilding after a herniated disc or rotator cuff tear, to someone chasing tighter core control, to elite athletes fine-tuning performance. Same method, same principle, just calibrated to meet you where you are.

Regenerative treatments like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) may qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement, depending on your plan. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so it's not guaranteed, but it's a question worth asking before you assume treatment is out of reach financially.

If cost has been the reason you've held off on getting evaluated, start by checking with your plan administrator to see what your specific plan allows.
Ask our team about HSA/FSA eligibility.

Cost shouldn't be the reason you keep waiting for the evaluation you need.

Numbness, tingling, weakness, radiating pain; the symptoms are clear, but the source often isn't. Is it coming from the spine, a nerve further down the limb, or the muscle itself? Without an answer, treatment is a guess.

That's what electrodiagnostic testing solves. EMG and nerve conduction studies measure the electrical activity in your muscles and the speed of your nerve signals, pinpointing whether symptoms are caused by nerve compression, nerve injury, or muscle dysfunction, and whether the problem originates near the spine or farther out.

At CHARM, this testing is led by Dr. Eduard Elizondo, board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and board-certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine, with additional certification as a Life Care Planner. Few clinics in the region have a physician with this level of specialized training in reading the body's electrical signals, which means patients get a precise answer, not a best guess.

It's often the deciding factor between a surgical referral and a non-surgical path forward.

This is the Diagnose phase of care done right: not a starting guess, but a confirmed answer that shapes everything that follows.

The right treatment starts with knowing exactly what you're treating.

Knee pain has a way of narrowing your world, one skipped stair, one declined invite, one shorter walk at a time. If you've been told you'll "eventually need" a knee replacement, that doesn't mean surgery is your only option right now.

Regenerative medicine uses your body's own biological material, concentrated platelets in PRP, cells and growth factors from bone marrow in BMAC, or a dextrose solution in prolotherapy, to support the joint's own repair process instead of just masking pain. Each approach works differently, and which one fits depends on the stage and type of damage in your knee.

At CHARM, our physicians evaluate the joint, not just the injury site, with diagnostic ultrasound and a full functional assessment before recommending a plan built around your recovery goals, not a standard protocol.

Read the full breakdown on our blog to see whether PRP, BMAC, prolotherapy, or a combination is right for your knee.

Chronic pain has a way of taking pieces of your life away one week at a time, the workouts you skip, the trip you talk yourself out of, the mornings that start slower than they used to. Once you're exploring treatment, the question that actually matters isn't just "which treatment", it's "how long until I get my life back?"

Here's the real difference. Steroid injections offer quick relief, but that relief is temporary, with no actual tissue healing, and repeated use can weaken tissue over time. Surgery can restore function, but recovery often runs 6 to 12 weeks, sometimes longer, with real downtime along the way. PRP therapy is minimally invasive and directly initiates the body's healing response.

Most patients return to light activity within 2-3 days, and athletes return to training within 1-2 weeks, with minimal downtime throughout.

That's not a shortcut. It's a different mechanism, one that targets repair rather than just managing symptoms.

See how PRP compares to your current treatment plan.

Getting back to your routine shouldn't take months.

One injection here, a few PT sessions there, and still no real relief. That's the pattern for many people managing chronic pain: isolated treatments with no strategy connecting them.

At the Center for Healing and Regenerative Medicine, care follows an integrated process: Diagnose, Regenerate, Rehabilitate, founded by Dr. David Harris, Founder & Medical Director.

That process is carried out by a full clinical team: Dr. Kyle Allan, board-certified in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine with fellowship training in Sports and Interventional Spine; Dr. Kunj Amin, board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine; Dr. Elizondo; and Michelle Hall, PA-C.

Every phase is built on what the last one revealed. Diagnosis isn't a formality; it's what determines whether regeneration and rehab actually target the right problem.

That's the difference between treating a symptom and resolving the cause, and it's why patients come to CHARM instead of piecing together care on their own.

Recovery works best with a plan, not a patchwork.

Weeks of nagging joint or tendon pain, and the workouts, sleep, and work are all starting to suffer. PRP therapy comes up, and the first real question is always the same: what does it actually cost?

The honest answer is that PRP pricing varies because not all PRP is the same. Kit quality, preparation method, physician expertise, and whether the evaluation, imaging, and injection happen in one visit all shift the number. PRP uses your own concentrated platelets to initiate the body's healing response, and that process is only as good as the lab behind it.

At CHARM, every PRP injection is processed on-site in our in-house biologics lab under imaging guidance, which means more precision and tighter quality control at every step.

That's also why PRP isn't priced like a commodity treatment; the value is in what goes into the preparation, not just the injection itself.

Most patients know that regenerative injections — Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC)- are cash-based and HSA-eligible. Fewer realize how much of the regenerative medicine journey isn't: we accept most major insurance plans, and your initial assessment is typically covered under your individual plan.

That first evaluation, diagnostics, imaging review, and a real conversation with your care team is often where coverage applies. From there, in-house biologic processing and the procedure itself are where PRP and BMAC come in, funded through cash pay or HSA.

At the Center for Healing and Regenerative Medicine, every biologic is processed in-house, giving your care team precision and quality control that off-the-shelf processing can't match. It's one of the reasons patients trust CHARM with a decision this important.

Your HSA may fund more of this process than you think, and your insurance may cover more of the front end than you expect. Confirm your specific eligibility with your plan administrator and our team.
