Happy International Friendship Day!

Today, we're celebrating one of the many meaningful friendships that make life at The Watermark at Southpark Meadows so special.

Meet Bonnie and Sue, whose friendship began more than four years ago when they became roommates at another senior living community. When Bonnie decided to move to The Watermark at Southpark Meadows, Sue came too. As Bonnie likes to joke, "I had the TV, so she followed me here!" Their laughter and shared history have continued ever since.

You'll often find Bonnie and Sue side by side enjoying bingo, getting creative with crafts, or playing their favorite card games together. Their friendship is built on mutual respect, kindness, and the simple joy of spending time together.

When asked to describe one another in a single word, Bonnie called Sue loving, while Sue described Bonnie as trustworthy. And what makes them smile most? Seeing each other every single day. They both agree that the respect they have for one another is what makes their friendship so special.

At The Watermark at Southpark Meadows, we're grateful to see friendships like Bonnie and Sue's continue to grow, reminding us that it's never too late to find a lifelong friend. Happy International Friendship Day! 💙
