We also had the joy of welcoming students from Ojeda Middle School to The Watermark at Southpark Meadows during their end-of-year community tour. Our residents loved the performance and always appreciate the time these students take to visit and share their talents with our community. 💙

It has been so wonderful watching local students continue to bring joy, music, and connection to our residents throughout the years. Thank you, Ojeda Middle School, for another memorable visit, and we hope everyone has an amazing summer break!

We had the pleasure of welcoming the talented Akins High School choir to The Watermark at Southpark Meadows as part of their end-of-year community performance tour! 🎶💙

Residents loved spending the morning enjoying the music, energy, and enthusiasm the students brought to our community. It’s always so special to see generations come together through music and shared moments like these.

We are so thankful for the continued connection we’ve built with Akins over the years, and we wish all of the students a fun summer and congratulations to the graduating seniors! 🎓✨

Last week, our residents enjoyed another wonderful performance from the Austin Rockin Line Dancers! 💃🎶

Their lively music, fun routines, and amazing energy always bring so much joy to our community. Residents loved spending the morning clapping along, smiling, and enjoying the entertainment together. ❤️

Out of all Watermark communities nationwide, our community was chosen to accept this incredible recognition celebrating engagement, connection, and meaningful resident experiences.

We are especially proud of our Resident Experience team, Catie and LyAnn, for representing The Watermark at Southpark Meadows and accepting the award on behalf of our community. 💙

National Wellness Week kept the fun going today with a cozy PJ Day and a special afternoon of entertainment and wellness! 💙🛌✨

Residents and associates came dressed in their favorite pajamas while enjoying a lively Cinco de Mayo performance from the Austin Rockin Line Dancers, who brought so much energy, music, and fun to our community. 💃🎶

We also appreciated Compassus Hospice for providing a meaningful wellness lecture as we continue focusing on health, connection, and overall well-being throughout the week. We’re so thankful for all the smiles, laughter, and special moments shared together! 🌟

Wellness Wednesday was full of fun, learning, and treats during our National Wellness Week celebration! 💙🧢👖

Residents and associates showed off their favorite hats and denim for Hat & Jean Day while enjoying a variety of wellness-focused activities throughout the day. Roxy kicked things off with an engaging lecture on motion, and Chef Terrel led a delicious protein smoothie class to help everyone stay energized and healthy. 🥤✨

The afternoon brought even more smiles with Chick-fil-A sandwiches, refreshing paletas, and thoughtful goodie bags generously donated by Magnolia Hospice for residents and associates to enjoy together. 🌴🍦

We’re loving all the joy, connection, and community this week continues to bring!

At Watermark, we believe technology is more than a tool. It can help people stay connected, independent, and confident in daily life.

Our sister community, The Watermark at the Pearl was recently featured in the Business Insider for the meaningful work of Tech Concierge Adrian Amora.

After a career in software engineering, Adrian now helps residents feel more comfortable using everyday technology. This includes things like phones, email, video calls, online banking, and healthcare portals.

As Adrian shared, many older adults feel like tech challenges are their fault—but often, it is simply the device or system that is confusing.

His support has helped residents reconnect with family, find lost photos, and feel more confident using digital tools.

Stories like this remind us that technology in senior living is not just about devices. It is about helping people stay connected, reducing isolation, and supporting independence.
