Dolly Parton with the one and only C.B. “Stubb” Stubblefield, captured in Lubbock by Sharon Ely, wife of Texas music legend and Stubb’s longtime best friend, Joe Ely.

Long before the lights came up on our stage in Austin, Stubb was already bringing people together through good food, good music and even better company.

Some legends just find each other. ❤️
