For those who know me, I’ve owned my own business — Athletic Tune-up Professionals — for over 20 years. I still love it and will continue doing sports massage as long as I can.

That said, I’m excited to share that I’ve started a new venture — the TXSFL (Texas Semipro Football League)!

Over the last 6 years coaching, I’ve worked with so many talented athletes and built real relationships. I’ve also seen the struggles many of them face — finding steady jobs, transportation to practice, personal challenges, and more. There’s only so much one coach can do for individual players.

So I decided to think bigger.

The TXSFL was created to unify semipro football teams across Texas under one strong umbrella. We’re building a real platform for players, coaches, and referees — one that creates more opportunities, better structure, and greater visibility.

Existing teams can continue in their current leagues, while we add new leagues to keep things balanced. We’ll sync schedules, standardize rules, and build toward a true Texas championship — the Brisket Bow* — pitting the North Texas Champions against the South Texas Champions.

The inaugural Brisket Bowl is set for July 11, 2026 at Westlake High School Stadium!

We’re also opening up advertising and sponsorship opportunities to help support the league and the players. I’ve attached our sponsor deck — please take a look if you know anyone who might be interested in supporting Texas semipro football.
