We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Amanda Major to the Austex Pediatrics family! 💙
Originally from Dallas, Dr. Major attended Dartmouth College before earning her medical degree from McGovern Medical School. She then completed her pediatric residency at NYU Langone Health and spent the last two years caring for patients at a pediatric clinic in Brooklyn.
Dr. Major and her family recently moved to Austin this fall, and they are excited to call Central Texas home! As a mom to two young children herself, she understands the joys and challenges that come with raising little ones. She also has a Goldendoodle named Sophie who keeps the whole family busy.
When she’s not in the office, you can usually find Dr. Major outdoors with her family, exploring local playgrounds, hiking, and enjoying nature. Fun fact: she has even climbed Mount Kilimanjaro! 🏔️✨
We are so excited for Austex families to get to know Dr. Major and experience her compassionate, thoughtful care! She will be seeing patients regularly in our clinic August 3rd!!💕
