Let me tell you something about the 15 people currently connected to MedEx.
You might look at that number and think, “Only 15?”
I look at it completely differently.
I see 15 people who took a chance on a company that is still being built.
15 people who trusted the vision before there was a long list of success stories to point to.
And that means something to me.
Because I know what it feels like to start with an idea and have to build everything from the ground up.
So no, I’m not embarrassed that we have 15 right now.
I’m proud of it!
Because 15 becomes 20.
20 becomes 50.
50 becomes 105.
105 becomes 500.
And then one day, we’ll look up and there will be 1,000 healthcare professionals working because MedEx opened a door for them.
That’s what I’m building.
Not just a staffing company.
I’m building an opportunity machine.
A place where a respiratory therapist can find their next opportunity.
Where a nurse can pick up the shifts they need.
Where a new graduate can get help putting together a résumé and figuring out their next career move.
Where a facility that is short staffed can call somebody who actually answers.
And where people can say, “MedEx helped me.”
That’s the part that matters to me.
The money matters. The growth matters. Building a valuable company matters.
But the people are the reason I’ve built this.
I have a vision of seeing 1,000 people working through MedEx every single day.
And I’m not waiting until we get there to celebrate.
I’m celebrating the 15 now.
Because I know something that most people don’t.
Every big company you admire was once small.
Every big number started with a smaller number.
Every story people admire had a chapter where nobody was watching.
This is our chapter.
15 people.
One vision.
One mission.
And a whole lot of work ahead of us.
So if you’re watching MedEx right now, remember this number.
Because we’re coming back for this post when it says 1,000.
And I want the people who believed in us early to be able to say…
“I was there when it started.”
