This Saturday, we’re getting the Lifespring community together at Zilker, and you’re invited!!

This one’s for our patients, and for anyone thinking about coming to see us down the road who just wants to get to know who we are. No pressure, no pitch. Just come hang out.

One of the things we’ve witnessed in health is that you can track it, optimize it, read about it, and still feel like you’re doing it alone. The people who actually get why you care about feeling good are harder to find than the right supplement.

So we’re carving out a morning for exactly that. We are doing a 30 minute walk on the trails, then back to the sand volleyball courts for yard games, snacks, and a couple hours outside with good people. We’re bringing Tacodeli and drinks, Rambler Sparkling Water, regular water, and the good stuff, Mountain Valley. Bring your family, kids, a friend, or your dog!

Want to come? Please RSVP so we can bring the right amount of tacos and drinks for everyone.

Saturday, June 13, 10am to noon at Zilker. RSVP link in our bio.

A national champion catcher couldn't get rid of her own hip pain.

Reese Atwood plays softball for the University of Texas. She came in during the season with hip pain that was getting bad enough to change how she played, and she'd already tried the usual stuff. Needling, massage, all of it. Nothing really stuck.

And here's the thing that usually gets missed. Reese had also dealt with a stiff neck pretty much her whole life, headaches she figured were just part of being an athlete, and some anxiety and focus stuff going back to high school. She just kind of played through all of it and assumed that was normal.

Turns out those weren't separate problems. When we scanned her, it all traced back to one thing, her nervous system not communicating well between her brain and her body. So we worked on her neck, and her hip pain started to change. That's kind of the whole point. The part that hurts is rarely where the problem actually lives.

Want to see how it played out? Check out the full video on our YouTube channel.

Your labs aren't wrong. They're just looking at the wrong stage.
Medicine measures pathology.

Disease. Damage. Late-stage breakdown.
The thing that's already broken. Almost nobody measures function — how your nervous system is running, how you're handling stress, how you're doing before anything shows up on a scan.

There's a decade between "fine" and "sick." That's where you're actually living.
Normal labs don't mean you're healthy. They mean nothing's broken yet.

Four specialists. Four normal reports. Nothing actually better.

GI doc for the bloating. Neurologist for the headaches. Endocrinologist for the fatigue. GP for the anxiety.

We named it the Specialist Shuffle. Different symptoms, different specialists, same result.

Nobody ever zoomed out. Every specialist looked at their part. Nobody looked at the system running all of them.
You don't have four problems. You have one problem showing up in four places.

Link in bio to stop shuffling. Get started with an INSiGHT nervous system scan to measure the ONE system that controls all the parts, the nervous system.

"I cracked my neck constantly. Stretched all day. The tightness always came back."
That's Rori saying that. And it's probably half the people reading this.

Then she started care at Lifespring, and figured out what was actually happening.
"It wasn't all about my muscles being super tight. It was directly wired to my nervous system. As we address the spine through the lens of the nervous system, it changes the muscle tightness."

That's the part most people miss. If a muscle keeps getting tight no matter how much you stretch it, your nervous system is telling it to stay on. Stretching the muscle doesn't change the signal.
This is why Rori isn't stretching all day anymore.

The tightness wasn't a muscle problem. It was a nervous system problem.
If your body keeps locking up no matter how much you work on it, you're working on the wrong layer.

Why does the same thing keep breaking?

Same shoulder. Same back. Same flare-up. You fix it, it comes back. You fix it again, it comes back again.
Here's why...
Your body isn't a car. It's a plant.

A plant responds to its conditions. Sleep. Stress. Movement. What you're putting in your body. Change the conditions, the whole plant changes.

And the roots are your nervous system. Every one of those conditions feeds the same system. When they're off for long enough, the nervous system dysregulates. That's where the symptoms actually live.
Most healthcare adjusts the leaf.

We measure the roots. Link in bio to start there.

Catie had already been through ear tubes and had her adenoids removed the year before. She was back on the swim team, and the ear pain was back with it. One morning it got so bad she was digging her head into her pillow trying to make it stop.

Her dad brought her in. First thing he said was that he didn't want her cracked. Not ever. That was fine with us. We never planned to.

A lot of people don't know chiropractic can look like this. No cracking, no forcing, no bracing for impact. The approach meets the nervous system where it is instead of forcing it somewhere else.

He told us the difference was obvious while they were coming in consistently. When life got busy and they stopped, the symptoms crept back. That's the part most people miss. The nervous system responds to consistent input, not one-off fixes.

Pediatric chiropractic care in Austin doesn't have to look the way you think it does.

If you've been avoiding care because of what you assumed it would feel like, it's worth a conversation. Link in bio.

Her labs came back normal. So did her thyroid, her iron, her cortisol. She was still crashing by 2pm every day and burning through supplements trying to fix it.

This is her nervous system scan. The scan shown is stuck in what we call stress or protection mode... a system that's been running on high alert so long it's burning energy just to keep her upright. That's the 2pm crash. That's why the coffee stops working. That's why five supplements still leave her tired.

No blood test measures this. No X-ray shows it. Most people spend years being told everything looks fine while the system running everything else quietly runs on a deficit.

Fatigue isn't always a hormone problem or a sleep problem. Sometimes it's a signal from the one system nobody's checking.

Your body isn't broken. It's stuck in protection.

Ever had normal labs and still felt off? Tell us in the comments... we read every one.
