Sharing a quick financial-planning insight I recently dug into directly from the IRS. I came across an interesting HSA rule involving adult children under 26 who remain on their parents’ family HDHP but are no longer tax dependents. They may be eligible to have their own HSA, while parents age 55+ may also have catch-up contributions available. It’s a good reminder that there can be planning opportunities where health insurance, taxes, and financial planning intersect. *Educational purposes only.*
