In this 2-day Shoshin Shiatsu, mat based training, you will be introduced to applicable techniques for supine, prone, side-lying and seated positions with the purpose of bringing focus to your sessions.
Shoshin Shiatsu, a Traditional Chinese Medicine based practice, utilizes the understanding of how Chi moves through the body’s meridians and organs. You will be introduced to their location, and how to find them utilizing bony landmarks and surrounding anatomy. You will also learn about the meridians associated functions and emotions with corresponding organs.
A functional amount of acupressure points to address common unbalances will also be presented along with an introduction to visual and hara (abdominal) assessment.
Suitable and beneficial to all Bodyworks / Massage Therapists / Yoga Practitioners / Instructors of both!
