You probably don’t need another list of things to try for your fatigue.

You need to know what deserves your attention first.

That’s why I created the 60-minute More Energy Session.

We look at your fatigue patterns, what you’ve already tried, what’s happening in your day, and where your energy may be going.

The goal isn’t to give you 10 more things to add to your routine.

It’s to help you stop guessing and leave knowing what to focus on first.

If you’re doing everything “right” and still struggling to get through your day, this session was created for you.

The More Energy Session is a paid 60-minute session.

Send me ENERGY if you’d like the details.

You’re getting 7- 8 hours of sleep.

You’re trying to eat enough protein.

You’re drinking water.

You take your supplements.

You’re even exercising when you have the energy.

And you’re still exhausted.

At some point, doing more stops being the answer.

Because if you’re already doing “all the right things,” the better question may be:

Where is my energy actually going?

Fatigue during perimenopause isn’t always a sign that you need to add another habit.

Sometimes it’s a sign that what your body can recover from has changed, but what you’re asking it to carry hasn’t.

Before you add something else, get curious about the gap between what your life demands and what your body has the capacity to recover from right now.

When a woman in perimenopause tells me:

“I’m exhausted, but I don’t know why.”

I don’t automatically assume it’s just her hormones.

I start looking for patterns in three areas:

Metabolic.
How is her body getting, using, and maintaining energy?

Hormonal.
How might the changes of perimenopause be affecting sleep, mood, recovery, and energy?

Mindset.
What beliefs are keeping her pushing, overcommitting, or waiting until everything is done before she rests?

Sometimes more than one is happening at the same time.

That’s why “just take this supplement” or “just get more sleep” may not be enough.

Before we decide what to do about fatigue, we need to understand where the energy she has is going.

I know the word.

I can picture the word.

But for some reason, I can't say the word.

Brain fog doesn't care how smart you are.

You may not need a better self-care routine.

You may need to look at why yours is always the first thing to go.

You planned to walk.

Someone needed something.

You were going to go to bed early.

You remembered three more things that needed to get done.

You planned to make yourself lunch.

Work got busy, so you ate whatever you could find at 3.

Then you tell yourself:

“I just need to be more consistent.”

Maybe not.

Maybe consistency isn't the real problem.

Maybe there's a belief underneath it:

Everyone else's needs are fixed. Mine are negotiable.

You don't need to put yourself ahead of everyone you love.

But you cannot keep putting yourself last and expect your body to always absorb the difference.

You know what everyone needs.

Your child needs something for school.

Your spouse has something coming up.

Your parent needs an appointment.

Your friend hasn't been herself lately, so you check on her.

There's something at work that needs handling, and you already know you'll probably be the one to handle it.

You're very good at taking care of people.

But here's the question:

When was the last time you noticed what you needed before you were already exhausted?

For many high-achieving women, taking care of everyone else has become so normal that they don't even recognize it as something that costs them energy.

Caring for people isn't the problem.

Disappearing from the care you give is.

What does healthy aging actually look like for you?

Not just living longer, but feeling well enough to stay engaged in your life, your family, and your community.

Tomorrow, I’ll be facilitating a Community Health Conversation in honor of Healthy Aging Month.

We will have a conversation about healthy aging and what that looks like for you.

Tuesday, September 8th
6:30–7:30 pm

Dickey-Givens Community Center
1015 E. M.L.K. Jr Blvd., Taylor, TX

If you’re in the Taylor area, I’d love to have you join the conversation.

What’s one thing you want to protect or improve about your health as you get older?

09/04/2026

You may not need more energy. You may need to find out where the energy you already have is going.

09/02/2026

How many things have you added to your routine to fix your fatigue, and how many actually changed your energy?

08/31/2026

Your wellness routine shouldn’t become another job your exhausted body has to perform.
