⚾🍨 Celebrating Our All-Star Dads at Aventura at Humility House! 🍨⚾
For Father's Day, we honored our amazing dads with an afternoon full of great music, sweet treats, and special memories. Residents enjoyed a stroll down memory lane as Lonnie G. played some oldies but goodies, while everyone created their own delicious treats at our Build Your Own Sundae Bar.
It was a wonderful celebration filled with smiles, laughter, and appreciation for the fathers who mean so much to our community. 💙

✨ Resident Success Story ✨
At Aventura at Humility House, we are honored to be part of our residents' recovery journeys, and Nancy's story is one of determination, perseverance, and hope.
After being struck by a car while crossing the street, Nancy arrived at Humility House for rehabilitation facing a long road ahead. She was unable to bear weight on her lower extremity, required assistance with daily activities and transfers, and was not permitted to walk.
Although she was initially fearful of what the future might hold, Nancy embraced the rehabilitation process with strength and determination. As her healing progressed and she was able to begin toe-touch weight bearing, she gained confidence and saw that recovery was within reach. Through hard work, dedication, and the support of our therapy team, Nancy achieved important milestones, including self-transferring independently and regaining her mobility.
Nancy is returning home with a walker, renewed confidence, and plans to continue her recovery with home health services. Along the way, she also formed meaningful friendships and connections that made her stay even more special.
“Therapy helped me to achieve all my goals. They worked with me and helped me through the ups and downs. I am very thankful for therapy—they really helped me a lot. They knew my limits and kept me motivated. I would recommend them to everyone.”

👩‍🍳🧁 Golden Aprons Cooking Club at Aventura at Humility House!
This week, our Assisted Living residents stirred up something sweet in the kitchen as the Golden Aprons Cooking Club baked a fresh batch of muffins!
The kitchen was filled with laughter, great conversation, and delicious aromas as everyone got involved in the fun. After some friendly tasting, lemon poppyseed was the clear favorite! 🍋✨
It was a wonderful day of creativity, teamwork, and tasty treats. 💙

🇺🇸✨ Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday at Humility House! ✨🇺🇸
Our skilled nursing residents at Humility House came together in grand style as we begin our patriotic “Cards Across America” project! 💌
Residents have been busy creating beautiful handmade patriotic cards that will be sent to care facilities across the United States. The goal is to receive a card back from all 50 states as we celebrate this historic milestone for our nation.
We are so proud of the creativity, teamwork, and spirit shown by our residents as they take part in this meaningful nationwide project.

☀️🏖️ A beautiful day called for a Beach Party on the Patio at Aventura at Humility House!
Our Assisted Living residents enjoyed the sunshine, good company, and a relaxing afternoon spent with friends. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great memories made along the way.
Sometimes the best days are the simple ones spent together. 💙

🌱 Our 2026 garden is officially planted at Aventura at Humility House! 🌱
Our activity team, with a little help from a friend, spent the morning planting herbs and vegetables in our raised garden beds.
Residents enjoy helping care for the garden and look forward to seeing the results of their hard work throughout the season. 🍅🌿🥬
