In this intimate experience, you'll learn how to:

People often lack boundaries when they are used to self-abandoning. It can feel quite uncomfortable when you decide to set a boundary... and that's ok. It's important to get comfortable with that discomfort.

Setting boundaries is an act of self-love. The wrong people will resist. The right people will adjust and honor it. Both tell you everything.

Anxiety is not only a mental experience, it is physiological.
This is why mindset alone isn’t enough.

Start paying attention to your body. Is your chest often feeling tight? Is your breathing shallow? Are your muscles tense? Are you jumpy and irritable? Are your thoughts racing?

You are not an anxious person. That's not a personality trait. It is a nervous system state that we get to through experiences, conditioning, and learned behavior. Often times, we live our lives from that state of being, because we don't know how to speak the language of our nervous system.

Many people try to heal anxiety solely through logic or positive thinking while the nervous system remains overwhelmed underneath the surface. When the nervous system perceives stress or danger, the body responds automatically.

The body is not working against you. It is communicating with you. Real healing happens when the body learns it is safe enough to soften, regulate, and reconnect.

I've been taking an inventory of myself...

Everyday is an opportunity to polish yourself. If you mess up, you can always try again. Make needed shifts and upgrades.

But for that to happen you have to reflect and take an inventory of yourself.

Just like you invest on upgrading your phone or computer, are you the one running on an "outdated system?"

Do you engage in behaviors, thoughts, and patterns that would benefit from intentional reflection and an upgrade? I have been thinking about that myself. A simple one I'm choosing to polish is my delightful tendency to curse like sailor. Perhaps, I'm exaggerating a bit, but it certainly startled my husband when he first heard it.

If we look beneath the simple patterns, we may realize that there are others that will be more challenging to address, but are needing our attention.

Allow yourself to evolve. Sometimes, the only thing getting in our own way is our own resistance.
