📢 We're Hiring – Pediatric Medical Assistant
📍 Pediatric Clinic in Aventura, FL
🕘 Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our growing team! If you enjoy working with children and families in a supportive, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Qualifications
*Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (pediatric experience preferred)
*Experience administering vaccines is highly preferred
*Comfortable working with infants, children, and adolescents
*Friendly, patient, and compassionate attitude toward children and families
*Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese
*Quick learner with the ability to efficiently use our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
*Strong organizational and multitasking skills
*Experience scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
*Assist with patient intake by obtaining medical histories, recording vital signs, and documenting symptoms in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
*Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while ensuring their comfort and understanding
*Administer immunizations, medications, and perform basic clinical procedures in accordance with office protocols
*Assist physicians with patient care and medical documentation
*Schedule appointments, verify insurance information, coordinate referrals, and support daily front and back office operations
*Maintain accurate patient records and provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
What We Offer
*Starting salary: $20/hour
*Monday through Friday schedule
*3 paid sick days per year
*1 week of paid vacation per year
