🔍 Found a colon polyp… now what?

During a colonoscopy, polyps can often be removed right then and there. ✅

⬇️ Small sessile polyps may be removed with biopsy forceps.
⬆️ Pedunculated polyps are often removed using a snare, which works like a tiny lasso. 🎯

Once removed, that polyp is no longer a risk for developing into colon cancer. That’s the power of screening! 👏
