In my clinic, I see people who feel like they should be doing better.

I should be eating better.
I should be exercising more.
I should be managing stress better.
I need another vitamin or supplement.

No matter what they're doing, it somehow doesn't feel like enough.

What I often tell my patients is this:
You are already enough, exactly as you are.

Your worth doesn't depend on changing or being a better version of you.

And if you do want to make shifts or work toward a health goal, that doesn't happen all at once.

I recommend starting small.

Choose one thing you'd like to focus on.
Break that one thing into smaller steps that you can incorporate consistently -
not perfectly consistently.

Because when we try to overhaul everything overnight, it's usually not sustainable.
We can get overwhelmed, feel deprived, and end up right back where we started.

When we want to create lasting change, it typically happens a little at a time.
And those small steps add up.

If you're looking to make shifts in your health and well-being, acupuncture can be a powerful tool in supporting you.

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of people coming in with anxiety and nervous system dysregulation.

Whether you're experiencing ongoing anxiety or noticing it showing up during periods of stress, acupuncture can be incredibly helpful for regulating the nervous system and creating a sense of ease and well-being.

In East Asian Medicine, anxiety is not treated with a one-size-fits-all approach.

Two people coming in with anxiety, may have very different underlying root causes contributing.

This is why treatment is individualized, specific for each person.

I take a holistic approach, looking at the whole person, to understand how the systems of the body are functioning together.

By addressing the underlying imbalances contributing to anxiety, treatment can help create deeper, longer-lasting relief.

It doesn’t have to be this way.
If you or someone you know have been struggling with anxiety, I’d love to help you feel better.

And if you’ve never tried acupuncture and you’re curious, I would encourage you to give it a try.

You know that feeling when your mind is going through the never-ending to-do list?

The groceries need to be picked up.

The laundry needs to get done.

There's work to finish.

Emails to answer.

Bills to pay.

Before long, that feeling of overwhelm starts creeping in.

I've noticed that when I'm in that place, it doesn't take much to push me over the edge. A small inconvenience can feel like a catastrophe.

Usually, that's a sign that I'm running low on resources.

When we're tired, stressed, overextended, or haven't taken time to care for ourselves, even little challenges can feel overwhelming.

When that happens, I know it's time to replenish.

For me, that often means reconnecting with what brings me joy:
💙 Spending time with my partner and my dog
💙 Going for a walk
💙 Sitting outside for a few minutes and taking a few deep breaths
💙 Spending time in nature

And then I check in with the basics:
Am I getting enough sleep?
Have I eaten?
Am I dehydrated?
Do I need some movement or sunshine?

Sometimes the things we need most are surprisingly simple.

In East Asian Medicine, summer is associated with joy and connection.

If you haven't felt much of either lately, it may be a sign that your body needs to rest, replenish, and reconnect with what fills your cup.

You don't have to wait until you're completely burned out to take care of yourself.

Acupuncture helps to calm the nervous system and replenish your resources, helping you feel more grounded in your day-to-day life.

If that sounds like something you need right now, I’d love to help.

What my patient said about their allergies...

“This season has been the worst for my allergies. Since taking that formula you gave me, I haven’t had any issues. No sinus congestion. No itchy eyes. It’s so great!”

I’ve had a lot of people coming in complaining of allergies this season, more so than previous years.

I have a few go-to formulas that I recommend, depending on the symptoms.

And I have to say, I love seeing my patients breathing easier, not sneezing or coughing, and feeling good.

This is the time to enjoy the beautiful summer weather, work in the garden, or play a round of golf.

If you’ve been dealing with allergies that get in the way of your summer fun, I’m here to help.

PMOS, not PCOS

PCOS has new name.

PMOS - Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.

It's about time.

PCOS was always a misleading label.
It pointed at cysts.
It pointed at ovaries.
And missed the bigger picture entirely.

Which is why so many people went undiagnosed for years.
Or were diagnosed and still felt like no one quite understood what was happening in their bodies.

PMOS tells a more accurate story.

It's hormonal.
It's metabolic.
It's inflammatory.
It's a whole-system condition - not a reproductive footnote.
Which means, it will show up everywhere.

🟠The fatigue that doesn't match your sleep.
🟠The weight that doesn't respond to what used to work.
🟠The brain fog that rolls in mid-afternoon.
🟠The cravings.
🟠The skin flareups.
🟠The mood that tanks before your period.

None of that is random.
It's all the same pattern.

East Asian Medicine has always understood this as a systems issue.
We've been treating this - just not the label - for a long time.

Inflammation. Metabolism. Stress response. Hormone regulation. Sleep.

When the system regulates, cycles become more predictable, energy stabilizes, skin clears, cravings quiet.

The name just changed, but the approach that actually helps has been around a long time.

If you have PMOS - or suspect you do - let's create a personalized plan for YOU that sees the whole picture.

I LOVE treating hot flashes and night sweats.

Why?
Because here's what happens when hot flashes and night sweats get addressed:
🌿You aren’t waking up drenched, having to change your pjs
🌿You feel more ease throughout your body
🌿You feel less restless at night
🌿You feel less irritable
🌿Sleep can improve

East Asian Medicine works so well at regulating the entire body and bringing it back to a balanced state.

In doing so, symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats can be relieved.

If you’ve been dealing with perimenopausal symptoms, like hot flashes and night sweats, I’d love to connect and help you get some relief.

What is my 'why'?
Why do I show up for my people?

I love supporting people to feel good in their bodies again.
To remember what ease feels like.

I see a lot of people who live and function in a fight-or-flight state.
To be able to help regulate their nervous system and ease that feeling of overwhelm is incredible.

I am passionate about helping people live their best lives.

To see someone who has been in chronic pain for decades, finally experience relief… this is why I do what I do. This is why I show up.

I know what it’s like to be in constant, debilitating pain.

I know what it’s like to struggle with anxiety - to have a panic attack because you’re worrying about having a panic attack.

To be able to support people to feel better physically, mentally, emotionally is what I am committed to showing up for.

I am so passionate about this medicine because I've seen and experienced what it can do. I want to share it with as many people as possible.

IBS...

Was it the coffee?
The salad?
The stress?
The onions?
The hormones?
The three bites of ice cream?
Or the fact that you answered emails while inhaling lunch in your car?

IBS is exhausting.

Bloated after eating.
Constipated for three days.
Then suddenly the exact opposite emergency.

Planning your day around your digestion.
Changing or cancelling plans because your body feels unpredictable.

After a while, many people start blaming themselves:

"I'm too sensitive."
"I need more discipline."
"I should just eat cleaner."

But sometimes, the issue isn't a lack of willpower.

Sometimes, your body's been in fight or flight for so long that it forgot there was a rest and digest setting.

If this sounds familiar, know that you're not alone.

Digestion is deeply connected to stress, overwhelm, inflammation, and nervous system regulation.

Acupuncture doesn't just focus on the gut—it helps support the whole body.

The goal is to help your body feel safe enough to shift out of survival mode, so digestion doesn't have to feel like a crisis all the time.

If your digestion and nervous system could use some support, you don't have to navigate it alone.
