The Faces of Dementia with Dementia Friendly Fort Worth showcase is happening September 24 from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, bringing people together to honor those living with or who have lived with dementia.

This special event shines a light on the individuals behind the diagnosis and celebrates the unique stories, experiences, and memories that make each person who they are.

Want to help share a story that deserves to be remembered? 💜 Here’s how:

We had a wonderful time celebrating National Senior Citizens Day in The Cottage at Legacy Oaks of Azle! ✨❤️

Our residents were the stars of the day, each receiving a Certificate of Honor and taking a turn on the red carpet. 🌟

National Senior Citizens Day was a celebration to remember in The Cottage at Legacy Oaks of Azle! 🌟

Residents were honored as the true heroes they are, with each one receiving a personalized Certificate of Honor highlighting their unique qualities, accomplishments, and memories.

Every resident also got their moment to walk the red carpet, celebrated like the stars they are. 🤩

The day also included a meaningful prayer circle, giving thanks for the lives, wisdom, and beautiful stories each resident carries with them.

They are mothers, fathers, grandparents, veterans, teachers, caregivers, and friends, and this celebration honored exactly who they are. ♥️

The tropical fun continued here at Legacy Oaks of Azle with this month's Tropical Island photo theme! 🌴

Our residents added an underwater twist with ocean-inspired props, plenty of smiles, and lots of laughter as they transformed into an under-the-sea paradise.

It was a fun way to make memories and capture some great photos together. 🐠✨

Pet therapy days are always special here in The Cottage at Legacy Oaks of Azle! 🐾 🐶

A big thank you to Caregiver Kristen for bringing her sweet pup, Dublin, to spend time with our residents.

Everyone enjoyed plenty of smiles, cuddles, and moments of joy while loving on this adorable visitor.
The comfort, connection, and happiness that animals bring are truly special.
