If s*x is painful, you are not alone, and you are not being dramatic. For women with endometriosis, painful s*x is one of the most common and least talked-about symptoms. Read through to understand the two types of pain, why each happens, and what can actually be done about them.

Your body is not overreacting. It is reporting accurate information about pelvic disease.

Endometriosis isn't just a pelvic problem. It's a whole-body inflammatory disease, and GLP-1 drugs happen to act on several of the very systems driving it.

Drs. Singhal and McLean break down what patients are noticing, why the biology lines up, and what to be cautious about before drawing any conclusions.

This is not a green light. But it is worth paying attention to. Questions about your own endo care? We'd love to talk. Book a consultation at nygsurgery.com/contact or call 631-533-9733.

If you've been treated for interstitial cystitis and still aren't finding relief, endometriosis could be the underlying cause.

These two conditions share nearly identical symptoms, including bladder pain and pressure, pelvic cramping, urinary urgency, and pain during in*******se. When endo lesions grow on the bladder wall, they trigger the same pain signals as IC, but IC medications can't reach them.

On average, it takes women 7-10 years to receive an accurate endometriosis diagnosis. Misdiagnosis, including IC, is one of the biggest reasons why.

You deserve answers that actually fit. If treatment isn't working, swipe through for four questions worth bringing to your next appointment.
