☀️ Happy Monday!

New week. New goals. New opportunities… and maybe a reminder that your posture doesn’t need to look like a shrimp while answering emails. 🦐😂

Take a stretch break. Sit up tall. Move your body. Drink some water. And give your spine a little appreciation this week — it’s literally carrying you through everything. 💙🦴

Let’s make it a great week! 🙌

💧 Did you know?
The discs between the bones of your spine act like tiny shock absorbers. During the day they gradually lose fluid from normal activity, and while you sleep they rehydrate and recover.

That's one reason many people are actually a little taller when they wake up than when they go to bed!

Class 4 Laser Construction Crew 🚧

Imagine an injury site as a road under construction.

After injury, the body sends in the repair crew. Sometimes traffic (inflammation, irritation, swelling) slows everything down. Laser therapy helps support the repair process and improve the environment for healing.

🦵 Knee pain doesn’t always mean surgery is your only option.

At Living Well Bainbridge, we offer a comprehensive approach to knee pain using non-surgical knee decompression with Knee on Trac, Class IV laser therapy, chiropractic care, and therapeutic exercises to help support healing and improve function.

Our goal is to help reduce pressure in the knee joint, improve mobility, decrease discomfort, and help you get back to the activities you love — whether that’s walking, hiking, gardening, or pickleball. 🏓

If knee pain is slowing you down, there may be options to help you move better and stay active.

💙 MONDAY HEALTH TIP 💙

Did you know that your spine helps protect and support one of the most important systems in your body—your nervous system?

Your nervous system controls every movement, sensation, and function in your body. When joints in the spine aren't moving properly, it can contribute to stiffness, discomfort, reduced mobility, and increased stress on surrounding tissues.

Many people assume occasional aches and pains are simply a normal part of aging, work, or staying active. Often, however, those symptoms can be your body's way of letting you know something isn't functioning as efficiently as it should.

This week, take a moment to check in with your body:

✅ How is your posture?
✅ Are you moving as well as you should?
✅ Do you feel stiff when you get out of bed?
✅ Are aches and pains limiting your activities?

Small problems are often easier to address before they become bigger ones.

Have a healthy and active week!

🦴 What’s the difference between manual adjustments and instrument-assisted adjustments?

Manual adjustments use the chiropractor’s hands to apply a specific and controlled movement to a joint. These adjustments often involve a quick, gentle motion and may produce the familiar “pop” or “release” sound that some patients notice.

Instrument-assisted adjustments use tools such as the Activator or Arthrostim to deliver a precise, gentle impulse to the spine or joints. These methods use less force and do not typically produce a popping sound.

Both approaches have the same goal: improve joint motion, reduce restrictions, and help the body move and function better.

At Living Well Bainbridge, treatment is individualized. Some patients prefer manual adjustments, while others do better with instrument-assisted care depending on comfort, age, condition, and personal preference. 💙
