The 80-bed Community hospital and 107-bed long-term care facility, along with Willow Ridge, a 22-bed personal care facility, is owned and operated by the Hospital Authority of the City of Bainbridge and Decatur County. We’re excited to welcome our 2026 Youth Summer Shadow Program students to Memorial Hospital and Manor!

Starting today, you may notice some new faces throughout our departments. These students, ages 14–18, have expressed an interest in pursuing careers in healthcare and will spend part of their summer shadowing our dedicated team members to learn more about the many opportunities available in the healthcare field.

At Memorial Hospital and Manor, we believe investing in the next generation is one of the best ways to strengthen the future of healthcare. We are proud to provide these students with hands-on exposure, valuable experiences, and insight into the compassionate work that takes place across our organization every day.

Utilizing advanced techniques such as negative pressure wound therapy, bioengineered tissues, and growth factor therapies, the team is able to deliver effective, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs.

A huge thank you to Bank OZK⁠ for being an outstanding community partner and for directing $100,000 in Georgia state tax dollars to Memorial Hospital and Manor through the Georgia HEART Hospital Program⁠!

Following the check presentation, we had the opportunity to tour our nursing home and showcase some of the exciting upgrades currently underway—improvements made possible in part through the generous support received through this program. Seeing these projects firsthand is a great reminder of the impact local tax dollars can have when they are invested right back into the communities they serve.

We are incredibly grateful for Bank OZK’s commitment to helping us enhance the care environment for our residents, patients, families, and team members.
