The Baird Bears coaches and football team would like to extend a thank you to Joy Project Network and every donor who stepped up to help one of our own.

With your help one of our student athletes was able to receive the medically required knee brace he needed and get back on the field quickly, safely, and doing what he loves.

When one of our Bears needed help, this community didn’t hesitate. People gave, shared, prayed, and made sure the need was met. What could have been a long wait became a quick return to the field because people chose to show up for a kid in their community.

To Joy Project Network and the donors, thank you for seeing the need and making it happen. You gave a young athlete the opportunity to get back beside his teammates, continue his season, and keep doing something that means so much to him.
We are incredibly grateful to be surrounded by a community that takes care of its kids.

HELP US GET A STUDENT-ATHLETE IN NEED BACK ON THE FIELD!

JPN is asking our community to rally around a local high school athlete who has already overcome a long road back to the game he loves.

After a serious knee injury took him out for an entire year, he has worked hard to recover and is ready to return to the field. To do that safely, he needs a very specific knee brace designed to provide the support and protection his knee requires. He is facing this journey without the same level of family support and financial support that many student-athletes are fortunate to have.

The brace costs $490, and thanks to some generous supporters, HALF has already been raised! 🙌

That means we only need $245 MORE to get this brace ordered and help this athlete safely get back out there with his teammates.

🛻 Update: a donor has the chair we need— it’s located in San Antonio and needs to go to Texarkana 🛻 Anyone that way or going that way that could transport it for us that direction!!

We have a family in desperate need of a reclining wheelchair for teenager/young adult size female with cerebral palsy. She wants to go to church with her family and THIS is the obstacle.

Does anyone have something similar to this chair? The chair is $2600 new.
