Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home Family Owned and Operated
Offering Caring and Affordable Services
Burial, Cremation, Prearranged Funerals, Monuments

One of the oldest established businesses in Baird, Texas, Parker Funeral Home continues a long-time funeral service tradition started around the turn of the 20th century as Schwartz Furniture and Undertaking Company. Roger “Skip” and Pat Parker moved to Baird in 1977 as co-owners, and assumed full ownership in 1979.

“Our goals during our years of service to the Baird area have been to provide our families with professional, dignified, and affordable funerals. Keeping our funeral independently owned and operated has kept our steadfast commitment of quality services and caring attitudes.”

Continually remodeled facilities and up-dated technology give families a reassuringly comfortable venue to deal with their loss in their chosen setting surrounded by family, friends, and a caring community.

“A funeral service is not to just acknowledge that a person has died, but it is to acknowledge that a person has lived!”

“Creating a favorable memory picture of the deceased in the eyes of the family has long been my top priority.”
