💙 YOU DON'T NEED A MEDICAL CERTIFICATION TO HELP CHANGE A LIFE.

New Directions Northwest is hiring a Detox/Respite Technician for our Recovery Village program in Baker City.
This is an opportunity to become part of an interdisciplinary team supporting people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
You'll work alongside Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, behavioral health professionals, and support staff serving individuals receiving medical detoxification and crisis respite services.
As a Detox/Respite Technician, you'll help:
• Monitor client safety and wellbeing
• Provide calm, respectful support
• Recognize and report changes or concerns to licensed staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment
• Support clients experiencing withdrawal or behavioral health crises
• Keep the program running smoothly as part of the Recovery Village team
No medical certification is required for this position.
We're looking for compassionate, observant, dependable people who can remain calm under pressure, maintain professional boundaries, and treat every person with dignity and respect.

New Directions Northwest is hiring a Residential Treatment Technician for our Baker House Men's Residential Treatment Program in Baker City.
You don't need to be a counselor to make a difference in someone's recovery.
As a Residential Treatment Technician, you'll work alongside our treatment team to provide encouragement, structure, accountability, and support to men working toward recovery from substance use disorders.
💙 We're looking for someone who is:
• Compassionate and respectful
• Dependable and ready to be part of a team
• Calm when situations get challenging
• Comfortable setting appropriate boundaries
• Genuinely interested in helping people succeed
Behavioral health experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic, good judgment, and a desire to help others matter to us.

This September during National Recovery Month and into October, Oregon Recovers is bringing the Walk for Recovery to seven communities across Oregon, and we invite you to walk with us.

Recovery changes lives. It strengthens families. It builds healthier communities. When people have access to treatment, mental health care, peer support, recovery housing, prevention, and other recovery services, they have the opportunity to heal, reconnect, and thrive. That's why we walk.

It was a beautiful night to visit with so many of you at the Community Night Out in Baker City!

Our Children's team, Prevention team and BHRN SUD peers did a great job engaging kids and community members in activities.

We even got to hear a great testimony of sobriety! Fourty years, and through our residential program!
