Kindred Spirits Therapy Minis We are a 501(3)c organization dedicated to improving the health and well being of children and adults I have had horses and often people ask to come see them.

I have always loved horses, Id say "I get it honest" from my mother. I decided to bring my horses to those that Cannot readily get out and come to my farm. I quickly discovered the big 1200lb guy as loving as he is offers some hurdles. One evening I was following the progress of one Miniature horse Therapy group, and the idea was born but I wanted to the joy of training my own Mini to see the progress to have that bond myself. Again one evening I seen my first Mini Picasso, there he was in some "feed lot" waiting for man to determine his fate I could not help but be drawn to this little guy and he had to come to FL. So- $$$ exchanged hands travel was arranged and he was on his way. A year later I have trained him and taken him to several locations in our Community wanting to take things slowly as he too needed to heal from his ordeal at the auction houses and feed lots. I am happy to say he has become the sweet loving little guy I knew he desperately wanted to be. So- here we are we now have two Minis and we are moving forward into obtaining our 501 to open more doors and from there "Sky's the Limit"!!!

🐴❤️ **HURRICANE PREPARATIONS AT KINDRED SPIRITS THERAPY MINIS** ❤️🐴

As the hurricane approaches the Florida Panhandle, we want to reassure our wonderful KSTM family, friends, and supporters that **our beloved therapy minis and all our farm animals are our top priority!** 🐴🐾

We've been busy preparing the farm, securing equipment and supplies, and making sure our four-legged family has plenty of food, fresh water, and safe areas to weather the storm.

Our horses will have the freedom to move throughout their pastures and seek the safest areas as conditions change.

These little horses bring so much comfort, joy, and healing to others throughout the year. Now it's our turn to make sure they're as safe and comfortable as possible. ❤️

🙏 **We're praying for everyone in the path of this storm**, especially our fellow farmers, animal owners, first responders, and neighbors.

Please take this storm seriously, finish your preparations, and look out for one another. We'll share updates when it's safe to do so.

🐴 Sometimes the smallest visitor makes the biggest impact. ❤️

Yesterday, Kindred Spirits Therapy Minis had the privilege of visiting Destination Health & Rehab, and these photos say more than we ever could.

A hand reaching out.
A face lighting up.
A quiet moment of connection.
A smile that simply wasn’t there a few minutes before.

This is why we do what we do. ❤️

Our minis don't care about age, ability, circumstances, or what kind of day someone is having. They simply walk in, meet people exactly where they are, and somehow create moments of joy, comfort, connection, and sometimes even a beautiful memory from long ago.

We are incredibly grateful to Destination Health & Rehab for welcoming us and allowing us to spend time with their residents and families. Looking through these pictures afterward reminds us just how powerful these little horses can be. 🐴❤️

Today, Kindred Spirits Therapy Minis pauses in prayer and remembrance. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced a darkness that changed us forever. We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families who kissed someone goodbye that morning never knowing it would be the last time, and the heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the firefighters climbing those stairs.
The police officers and first responders answering the call.
The passengers and crew of Flight 93 who chose courage.
The service members who would later raise their hands to defend our country.
And the countless Americans who simply asked, “How can I help?”

In the days that followed, we prayed together. We grieved together. We flew our flag proudly. We checked on our neighbors. For a little while, we were reminded that despite our differences, we belonged to one another.

That spirit of compassion, service, and connection is something we pray our country never loses.

At Kindred Spirits Therapy Minis, we have seen the healing that can happen when someone simply shows up for another person. Today, we honor those who showed up when our nation needed them most.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

May God comfort those who still carry the wounds of that day.
May He protect those who continue to serve.
May He heal the divisions among us.
And may He help us remember that we are stronger when we stand together.

🇺🇸❤️ From our family to yours, Happy 4th of July! ❤️🇺🇸

Today is especially meaningful as we celebrate not only Independence Day, but also America's 250th birthday—250 years of freedom, resilience, hope, and the enduring spirit of this great nation.

We are forever grateful to the brave men and women, past and present, who have sacrificed so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Wishing you a day filled with family, laughter, fireworks, and cherished memories. May God continue to bless your home, our military, our veterans, and the United States of America.
