Testimony: I first learned about CSF Surgery through a radio advertisement. Before finding them, I had ended up in the County Hospital emergency room because of a serious health issue. Shortly afterward, I received a very large medical bill and was told that I needed to find a specialist who could help resolve my condition.
I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about what to do next. Like many people, I do not have health insurance, and the cost of medical care seemed impossible for me to afford. That was when I decided to call CSF Surgery.
From the very first phone call, I felt that someone genuinely cared about helping me. The patient advocate who assisted me was kind, compassionate, and guided me through every step of the process. She helped schedule an appointment with Dr. Shakir, who treated me with great professionalism and respect. Although English is not my first language, communication was never a problem. His assistant translated for me and made sure I fully understood my condition, treatment options, and what to expect from surgery.
My procedure was performed at San Joaquin Hospital, where I received outstanding care. The hospital staff treated me with dignity, kindness, and respect throughout my entire experience. I felt safe, supported, and well cared for every step of the way.
Before finding CSF Surgery, I had seriously considered traveling to Mexico because the cost of surgery in the United States was simply beyond my reach. However, the price I paid through CSF Surgery was fair, affordable, and truly life-changing. It gave me access to the care I desperately needed without placing an impossible financial burden on my family.
I am incredibly grateful for what CSF Surgery did for me. Their program provides hope for people like me—hardworking immigrants who do not have health insurance and often have nowhere to turn when faced with a serious medical problem. Thanks to CSF Surgery, I was able to receive the surgery I needed, recover successfully, and return to work.
Today, I can move forward with my life, continue supporting my family, and enjoy better health. I will always be thankful for the compassion, support, and opportunity that CSF Surgery gave me when I needed it most.
