We are hosting a Holiday Blanket & Teddy Bear Drive and are asking for donations of new blankets and new teddy bears.

📅 Starting: September 21st
🎁 Donations accepted through: December 10th
📍 Drop-Off Location: Front Lobby Drop Box

Every donation, big or small, can help bring a little extra comfort and joy this holiday season. We truly appreciate the support of our families, staff, friends, and community!

Our residents had such a sweet time getting creative and decorating their very own fall-themed sugar cookies! From colorful frosting to festive sprinkles, everyone enjoyed sharing laughs, creativity, and of course a delicious treat.Activities like this are a wonderful way to bring our residents together, encourage creativity, and make special seasonal memories. We loved seeing all the smiles and beautiful cookie creations!

Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the courage of the first responders and heroes who answered the call, and the families whose lives were forever changed.At Real Care, we remember the strength, unity, and compassion our nation showed during such a difficult time. May we continue to carry that spirit of kindness and togetherness with us each day.

Happy National Teddy Bear🐻 Day from Real Care! 💙

Today at Real Care Assisted Living, we celebrated National Teddy Bear Day🐻 with a very special activity created with lots of love and thought by our Activity Director. The goal was simple to remind each of our residents just how loved, appreciated, and beary special they truly are❤️Each resident had the opportunity to choose a teddy bear of their liking, receive their very own adoption certificate, and give their new furry friend a special name. We welcomed some adorable new friends today, including Benjamin Bear 🐻, Olly Bear 🐻, Buck Bear 🐻, and many more!
Our residents were so excited to pick out their bears, name them, share stories, and enjoy lots of smiles and hugs. 🤗 Teddy bears can provide comfort, companionship, sensory stimulation, and a sense of familiarity, while also encouraging conversation and bringing back special memories from childhood, family, and loved ones.
For residents who wanted another way to participate, teddy bear coloring sheets were provided so they could relax, get creative, and enjoy the celebration in their own way. 🎨🖍️ Throughout the activity, residents shared memories and stories with one another, making the day even more meaningful.
And for any residents who were unable to attend the activity, our Activity Director personally went to locate each resident and made sure they received a teddy bear of their own. No one was left out of this special celebration. 💙
A lot of heart and thought went into putting this together for our residents, and plenty of hugs were given along the way! 🐻💕 Every resident deserves to be reminded just how special they are.
