Our residents got a little spoiled this week!

A huge thank you to Eric
Eric from Nights Watch Patrol for stopping by with an amazing spread of assorted meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, delicious cookies, and fun prizes that had our residents eagerly waiting to see who would win!

Winning Wednesdays wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of community members who volunteer their time, share their hearts, and donate items that bring so much joy to our residents.

These acts of kindness may seem small, but they create meaningful moments, spark conversations, and remind our seniors that they are loved and valued.

We are incredibly grateful for community partners like Eric who help make every Wednesday a little brighter and a lot more fun.

Networking and building connections is one of the best ways to grow a business and strengthen a community.

You never know who may know someone in need of your services—or who may offer a resource or partnership that benefits those you serve.

Cue the Cinderella music…
When the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County donated a pair of shoes, we weren’t sure who they would fit. Then along came our very own prince…
He slipped them on, and just like Cinderella’s glass slipper—they fit perfectly!

Talk about a happy camper- our very own Cinder-fella!
His smile said it all.

Now all he needs is a jersey and a basketball, and he’ll be ready to hit the court.

Moments like these remind us that sometimes a simple act of kindness can feel a little bit magical. A pair of shoes may not be made of glass, but they still have the power to make someone feel special.

Thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Kern County for helping create these magical moments.

That’s what makes our Keeping It Real Movement Class so special. Every week is different, offering opportunities to stimulate our residents socially, physically, and cognitively.

We don’t expect every movement to be perfect. That’s not the goal. The goal is to engage the mind, encourage connection, build confidence, and keep bodies moving in a fun and supportive environment.

Success isn’t measured by perfection—it’s measured by participation, smiles, laughter, and the willingness to give it a try. And every week, our residents remind us that they’re capable of more than they think.
