Silicone implants, by comparison, are more prone to hardening, scar tissue formation, and rupture which requires regular MRI screening to check for leaks.

Q: How long will my implants last?
A: It depends on placement 👇
When implants go under the muscle (submuscular) using a transaxillary approach with a very small incision, the muscle stays intact helping hold the implant up, keep results looking natural and reduce sagging over time. “Why did you do your wife’s facelift?” 🤍
It’s the question Dr. Brandow gets asked more than you think and and honestly, it’s not a simple answer.
Operating on someone you love means wearing two hats at once: the surgeon’s mindset and the husband’s mindset. Technically and emotionally it can present challenges.
But when Stephanie asked, he knew exactly what kind of result he wanted for her: natural. Age-appropriate. Never tight, never pulled, never “different.” He didn’t want to change her face, he wanted her to still look like her, just refreshed. Not 20 years younger than him. Just... herself, again.

Our last few days in the south of france have been magical! Lunch at the Colombe d’Or in St Paul du vence and the next day, a ferry ride to St Tropez for a little shopping. Our hosts the Pickards & the Barron’s have been so much fun to be with!! We wish we could stay forever. But, I can’t wait to come home for the 4th of July and get back to my busy schedule.
