Thank you to everyone who joined us for yesterday’s Greater Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce Coffee Talk at our therapy practice! It was a pleasure connecting with fellow Chamber members, local business leaders, and community partners.

We're grateful for the opportunity to open our doors, share more about our mission, and have meaningful conversations about supporting the mental health and well-being of our community. Building strong relationships and working together helps create a healthier, more connected community for everyone.

A special thank you to the Chamber for organizing this wonderful networking event and to everyone who attended. We look forward to staying connected and seeing you at future Chamber events!

There are many different ways to support children in therapy. While most people have heard of traditional play therapy, they may not be familiar with some of the other therapeutic techniques available.

One of those techniques offered at Paths to Recovery is Sandtray Therapy. Sandtray Therapy gives children the opportunity to express emotions, experiences, and worries through play in a safe, supportive environment. Sometimes what feels impossible to say out loud becomes easier to build in the sand.

Because children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling, creating scenes with miniature figures in the sand can help them process emotions, experiences, and relationships in a way that feels natural and comfortable.

When should a child see a therapist?

There isn’t one simple answer. There could be one or many reasons you’re considering therapy for your child.

If you’ve ever wondered whether therapy might be helpful, our new Children’s Therapy page walks you through what we offer and how we support children and families every step of the way.

We have children’s therapists accepting new clients in both Manlius & Baldwinsville.

💜 August is full of opportunities to heal, connect, and find community. 💜

At The CUS Foundation, we believe no one should have to navigate the loss of a loved one to su***de alone. Throughout August, we’re offering free programs designed to support survivors through connection, movement, music, and healing.

Join us for:
🎵 Healing Through Music – August 15
🥊 Kickboxing – August 16
💜 CUS Connections Support Group – August 17
🧘 Restorative Yoga – August 29

And don’t forget our Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 8! It’s not too late to register for dinner, volunteer, or support our mission.

Every event is a reminder that healing looks different for everyone, but no one has to do it alone.

We would love to see you this month. Please share this schedule with anyone who may benefit.

💜 Together, we can create hope, healing, and connection for survivors of su***de loss. 💜

We aren’t creating some generic AI generated flyer for this CNY grief processing group!

Our Growing Through Grief series continues into August!

Our loved ones are made up of energy. When they pass, that energy is displaced, it can’t just disappear. By planting tubers/flowers in our loved ones memory, we have given that energy a place to reside and grow. Together we honor our loved ones using the peace and serenity of nature with blooms and blossoms.
