Such a wonderful time at our Oktoberfest Brunch this afternoon! We spent the afternoon enjoying the great food, beautiful lakeside view, and conversations with friends. Our talented culinary team treated us to a delicious, festive spread. We enjoyed classic staples like bratwurst with sauerkraut, red cabbage, German potato salad, and pretzels with cheese. And yes, we definitely saved room for the spectacular dessert table! 🍰

Our residents had a fantastic time this afternoon playing a few rounds, sharing some jokes, and enjoying each other’s company while waiting on their lucky number to be called. Such a fun way to kick off the weekend!

The crisp weather set the perfect backdrop for our first annual Chili Cook-off here at The Henry Senior Living! 🌶️ Each chili brought to the table was unique and delicious, making the competition fierce. But as the saying goes, there can only be one winner…
A huge congratulations to this year’s champion: Our amazing Memory Care Director Kimbra! 🥇 Thank you so much to all our talented chefs who participated and all those who had the difficult task of voting for their favorite. We are already looking forward to next year’s showdown!

Wellness Wednesday, Pink Power, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month was a massive success! A very special thank you to our community partners Elite Home Health, Unity, Crown Hospice, St. Croix Hospice, and EmpowerMe for setting up fun and interactive tables for them to learn more about staying healthy and supported. We are excited to have EmpowerMe offer services here at the Henry beginning next month! Together, we wear pink, spread awareness, and support the fighters and survivors in our community!
