Everyone deserves healthcare that feels safe, affirming, and centered around them. 🌈

At Alliance, we believe physical therapy works best when people feel heard. That means taking the time to listen, involving you in decisions about your care, and creating a plan that reflects your goals, your experiences, and your life.

We’re proud to provide care for people of all identities and backgrounds, and we’re grateful to be trusted with so many of your stories.

This Pride Month, we’re celebrating the voices that make our community stronger and the reminder that healthcare should never require you to hide who you are.

Because everybody deserves care that meets them where they are. 💜

At Alliance, more than 50% of our patients identify as LGBTQIA+—
and that’s not by accident.

For a lot of people, healthcare isn’t just about pain or injury—
it’s about whether they feel safe enough to even walk through the door.

We’ve seen what happens when that safety is missing.
When names aren’t asked.
When pronouns aren’t respected.
When people feel like they have to shrink themselves just to receive care.

And we’ve also seen what happens when it’s done differently.
When someone is met with curiosity instead of assumptions.

When they’re addressed the way they want to be.
When they finally feel like they don’t have to explain or defend who they are.
Sometimes the pain is still there…
but they leave feeling better anyway.

That’s not an accident. That’s what inclusive care does.
At Alliance, we’re not just treating injuries—

we’re creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and at home in their bodies.

And that changes everything.

InclusivePT

If you spend most of your day at a desk, your body starts to feel it—

tight hips, stiff legs, low back that just won’t relax.
This is one of the simple movements Lizzie teaches to help break that cycle.

It’s not about doing a random stretch…
it’s about how you move:
→ extend one leg
→ hinge forward from your hips (not your back)
→ keep it gentle and controlled

This helps take pressure off your low back and gives your body a chance to move in a way it’s probably been missing all day.

You don’t need a full workout to feel better—
sometimes a few intentional movements go a long way.

3 Things I wish more people knew before their first PT visit 👀

1. You don’t have to wait until it’s “bad enough”
If something feels off, painful, or just not quite right—that’s reason enough. You don’t need to push through it to “earn” care.

2. Your session should feel like it’s about you
Not a checklist. Not a protocol.
We’re here to understand your body, your goals, and what actually works for you.

3. Feeling safe and heard isn’t extra—it’s essential 🤍
The way you’re treated matters. When you feel supported, your body responds differently—and that can change everything.

From dance and partner acrobatics → to aerial silks and even flying trapeze…

movement is a huge part of who we are outside the clinic.

And that matters.
Because understanding your body isn’t just clinical for us—

it’s something we experience, explore, and care about in real life too.

That’s what shapes how we show up for you:
with curiosity, creativity, and care that actually feels human 🤍

Our team is growing—
new faces in marketing, physical therapy, PT aides, and at the front desk.

But one thing hasn’t changed.

We still believe the most important part of what we do… is being human with you.

The conversations.
The trust.
The feeling of actually being seen and listened to in your body.

That’s the kind of care we’re building here—
inclusive, thoughtful, and rooted in real connection.
Because better outcomes don’t just come from better exercises…

they come from feeling safe, supported, and understood.

And if that’s something you believe in too—
we’re always looking for people who are passionate about raising the bar with us.

If yoga has ever left you feeling worse instead of better… read this 👀

This usually isn’t a flexibility issue—it’s a hypermobility support issue.

And with the right modifications, yoga can actually help you feel stronger, more stable, and more confident in your body.

That’s exactly what we’re teaching in this workshop.
In just one hour, you’ll learn how to:
• Stop “hanging” in your joints
• Build stability without over-tensing
• Modify common poses so they actually support your body

We’re less than a week out + spots are limited!

If you’ve been stretching your ankles and not seeing much change… this might be the missing piece.

It’s not just about getting more range—it’s about being able to control that range once you have it.

When your ankle can move and control that movement, everything upstream (knees, hips, even your stride) tends to feel a whole lot better.

Have you mostly been stretching, or have you tried adding in control work like this? 👀

What have you noticed actually makes a difference for you?

Save this to come back to & send it to someone who’s always complaining about “tight” ankles 🙏
