Hospitals across Israel on Monday relocated operations to their underground shelters after Iran renewed its ballistic missile attacks on Israel.

In a statement, the Health Ministry said that following a situational assessment and in accordance with the Home Front Command instructions, hospitals were also told to prepare to release patients who are able to return home and to mobilize personnel for a rapid transition to emergency status.

In addition, health fund clinics and well-baby clinics that don’t have a nearby bomb shelter will not be operating, the ministry said.

A well-deserved recognition to Motti Margalit of Pariser's Bakery who has been a staple in the Baltimore community and staunch supporter of Israel!

When Motti Margalit first came to the United States from Israel in the late ’90s, he didn’t know much about what his new life would look like, or how long he would be here.

What he did know is that his wife and first child would be at the center of it, and that he wanted to continue to work in the same business as his parents — the bakery business.

So, he got a job at Pariser’s Baker, a Jewish Baltimore institution since 1889. Now, almost 30 years after that move, he is an integral part of that institution’s history as the current owner.

Mazal tov to Israeli chess grandmaster Yehuda Greenfeld on winning two gold medals at the World Deaf Chess Championship in Spain!

At 70 years old, Greenfeld’s incredible achievement is not only a personal victory, but also a major win for Israel in the disabilities world — showcasing the talent, resilience, and excellence of Israeli athletes with disabilities on the global stage.

A truly inspiring accomplishment for Yehuda and all of Israel.

During the tournament, Greenfeld competed alongside hundreds of chess players from 43 countries, though several countries withdrew from the event due to Israel’s participation.
