Recovery doesn't have to be boring. 🎲💙
Today in our Substance Use Disorder Group, we put a recovery twist on a classic game of Jenga. Each block challenged participants to reflect on topics such as triggers, coping skills, support systems, relapse prevention, goals, and what sobriety means to them.
The conversations were powerful. Participants shared personal experiences, encouraged one another, and gained new insight into their recovery journeys. Activities like these remind us that healing happens through connection, self-reflection, and learning from one another.
Recovery is not just about stopping substance use—it's about rebuilding lives, strengthening coping skills, and creating a future filled with hope and purpose.
At Breathe Freely Behavioral Health Systems, we believe recovery can be engaging, meaningful, and even fun while still addressing the serious work of personal growth.
