💛 We're proud to introduce you to Steven Guinn, Driver at The Atrium at Serenity Pointe in Arkansas – and a member of the Elegance Senior Living family for 15 years.

Steven's journey at The Atrium began when the community first opened its doors in 2010. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he brought along a strong sense of discipline and a work ethic that has defined his career.

Over the years, he has worn many hats – including Dietary Manager – but his focus has always remained the same: getting to know residents personally and being there for them in any way he can.

Working near the lake at Serenity Pointe always makes coming to work feel special, but it's the friendships Steven has built with residents that keep him coming back. "I enjoy hearing about the different experiences and stories that have shaped their lives," he said. "Building those connections is what makes this work so fulfilling."

One piece of wisdom he's carried with him from years of listening to residents? Work smarter, not harder – and always treat people the way you want to be treated. “Supporting one another is what creates the best experience for residents and staff alike,” said Steven.

We're proud to introduce you to Esther Ruma, Health & Wellness Director at Tranquillity at Fredericktowne in Maryland.

A refugee from Burma, Esther came to the U.S. with a passion for caring for older adults. These values, rooted in traditional Burmese family structures, helped launch her nursing career in California, working in memory care and learning from mentors who pushed her to grow.

Her compassion continues to shine at Tranquillity, where residents are excited to see her each day – and Esther wouldn’t have it any other way. She finds joy in simple moments of connection with them, like potting flowers, decorating for the holidays, and sharing stories together.

Her advice to those interested in a career in senior living? "It’s rewarding and fulfilling work. Even when you have a challenging day, it feels good to serve others."

Elegance communities brought the looks and the moves for our annual Senior Prom! 🪩💃🕺🎶

The May edition of our signature Making Memories event series was designed to encourage residents to experience the anticipation and confidence that come from getting dressed up and stepping out.

With hoppin' tunes and plenty of twirls around the dance floor, the prom also helped spark reminiscence, encourage movement, and strengthen connections. A night of fun can do wonders for our well-being! 💛
