🏁💜 The Buzzing Brunch Bunch is hitting the track again! 💜🏁

We're trading a traditional 5K for a much more resident-friendly .5K Race for Alzheimer's Awareness! Because every step counts when supporting a cause that touches so many lives.

Our racers will be fueled with mini snacks, hydrated with mini Gatorades, and cheered on every step of the way as they walk for a BIG cause. 💪✨

This may be a mini race, but it's making a mighty impact in support of the Alzheimer's Association. We are so proud of our residents for lacing up their walking shoes and showing that you don't have to go far to make a difference.

Today we enjoyed a beautiful nature outing filled with sunshine, fresh air, laughter, and connection. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the most caring staff who guided us through a wonderful day together.

We gathered in a peaceful wooded area where birds chirped overhead, the breeze flowed through the trees, and the sun peeked gently through the leaves. The weather could not have been more perfect! ☀️🌿

Our residents participated in an exercise and movement class, sang and danced along to live guitar music, and explored herbal therapy by smelling fresh rosemary, citronella, thyme, and mint. We also enjoyed a lovely nature walk followed by a delicious lunch together.

There is something truly special about connecting with one another in nature. Today was filled with joy, relaxation, music, movement, and meaningful memories we will treasure. 💚

Memorial Day carries deep meaning. Many of our residents lived through defining moments in our country’s history, served in uniform, or loved someone who did.

Taking time to pause, reflect, and share their stories honors not only those who gave their lives, but also the lived experiences and perspectives within our own halls.

We gather in gratitude for their courage and dedication, and in recognition that remembrance strengthens connection across generations. Their legacy and the freedoms they fought to preserve - will never be forgotten.

Tonight we took a trip back in time at our Sock Hop! 🎶🍦

After dinner, our residents enjoyed an evening filled with vintage entertainment, classic oldies, and delicious root beer floats. A wonderful husband-and-wife duo sang many of our favorite songs while everyone danced, rocked, and sang the night away. 💃🕺

The smiles, laughter, and memories shared made for such a special evening. There’s nothing better than seeing everyone having fun and enjoying the music together! ❤️

Our residents spent the day getting dressed for Senior Prom with the loving help of our caregivers — beautiful dresses, sharp button downs, makeup, accessories, and smiles that lit up the room. Everyone looked absolutely amazing and truly felt their best.

The evening began with a wonderful dinner shared together, followed by each resident making their grand entrance as their names were announced to cheering applause. It was such a special moment that it brought tears to the eyes of some of our residents and staff alike.

We danced and sang the night away with the always wonderful Stormin’ Norman, one of our favorite entertainers and a huge part of what makes this event so memorable every year. The joy in the room was unforgettable.

To top it all off, our kitchen team prepared delicious light after-dinner treats for everyone to enjoy.

Events like this remind us how important celebration, connection, music, and feeling special truly are. What a magical prom night it was! 💃🕺🎶
