During this National Health Center Week, August 2nd through 8th, we want to recognize the value of the Community Health Center (CHC) system across the nation. The impact of the more than 1,500 CHCs across the country is unmatched: providing care to 52 million (1 in 7) Americans and delivering primary care to 14% of the U.S. population for only 1% of total healthcare spending.
This year's NHCW theme, Building Innovative Care Where It Matters Most, highlights how community health centers use new ideas and dedication to improve health care access and patient results everywhere. And we are no exception. Our team continues to find new ways to care for our patients, creating better ways to meet them where they are and provide them with what they need.
