Our PRP program helps individuals in the community be more productive in their personal, family, and community lives. PRP programs serve adults and minors with mental health diagnoses, coping issues, substance use disorders and other behavioral challenges that impede their ability to live their fullest lives. Maryland Wellness (formerly BACHS Healthcare) uses a strengths-based holistic approach when working with clients who seek services for mental health assistance.

Maryland Wellness is excited to partner with Learning Beyond the Classroom this summer! Join us at select LBTC dates and locations as we connect with Garrett County families and share resources that support healthy children, strong families, and thriving communities.

Learning Beyond the Classroom is WILD ABOUT SUMMER!

Join us for fun, learning, books, and community all summer long at stops across Garrett County for children ages Birth-5.

This summerโ€™s themes are:

๐Ÿš— July: Wild About WHEELS
๐Ÿงฑ August: Wild About LEGOS

Maryland Wellness Community Relations Specialist, Stephen, attended the 2026 RIU Health Research Day Celebration hosted by the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing ( Hopkins University ) at Canton Waterfront Park.

This free, family friendly event brought together researchers, healthcare professionals, and community members to highlight the importance of medical research happening right here in our region. Attendees explored interactive exhibits, health screenings, and research presentations, along with activities for all ages including kidsโ€™ science activities, games, giveaways, and live entertainment.

Events like this help bridge the gap between research and community making health innovation more accessible and engaging for everyone.

We value opportunities that promote collaboration, education, and healthier communities.

What a fantastic time at the Jump Into June community event on Friday!

Maryland Wellness Community Relations Specialist, Corinna, had the opportunity to connect with families and community partners while enjoying an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and sunshine. Attendees enjoyed a bounce house, live music, bubble demonstrations, and plenty of cool treats to beat the heat! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿซง๐ŸŽถ

We were excited to see so many amazing organizations making a difference in our community, including the Elkton Police Department, Judy Center, Dolly Partonโ€™s Imagination Library, and Cecil County Voter Distributors.

A special thank you goes out to the ( )Elkton Alliance volunteers who checked on guests throughout the event and helped keep everyone hydrated with water during the hot weather. Your kindness and dedication helped make the day even more enjoyable for all!

We love being part of events that bring people together, strengthen community connections, and promote wellness for all.
