In this broad-reaching talk, she discussed how she approached reporting her new narrative nonfiction book, Rehab: An American Scandal, the fascinating people she met, what she learned about the challenges facing addiction treatment in the country, and what steps law and policy- makers could take to make our treatment system more effective.
