Happy Flag Day!
Today, we honor the American flag and the history, sacrifice, and resilience it represents.
Here in Baltimore, we are especially fortunate to be connected to such an important piece of our nation’s story. The Star-Spangled Banner flag that inspired our national anthem was sewn right here in Baltimore by Mary Pickersgill and proudly flew over Fort McHenry during the War of 1812.
As we celebrate Flag Day, we reflect on the freedoms we share, the history that connects us, and the pride of being part of a city with such deep American roots.

🚨 FYI Friday: Community Safety Alert 🚨

The Baltimore Police Department is warning residents about a recent "bump-and-rob" carjacking trend. In these incidents, suspects may intentionally strike a vehicle from behind and wait for the driver to exit before approaching and taking the vehicle.

If you're involved in a minor collision and something feels suspicious:
✔ Stay inside your vehicle
✔ Call 911 immediately
✔ Drive to a well-lit, populated area if possible
✔ Stay aware of your surroundings

Most importantly, if confronted, do not resist. Call 911 as soon as it is safe to do so.
