Always a work in progress, always beginning! We can be on track for so long and then something happens to derail our emotions, thoughts of the way it should be. I haven’t posted much and didn’t realize it had been a year but losing my yoga partner in this journey did affect me more than I realized…. It will be 3 years this year and it seems like so long yet just like yesterday! So they say life goes on and I am just Thankful for this journey and yet new beginning each day and fondly remember all the good times we shared on this journey Bobbye Brown!!! RIP

It’s so natural to attach feelings, judgments, opinions, thoughts to situations / just living daily life. I often think about that as I am makings those judgments in my mind and holding my tongue!
So is that half of the battle to recognize that we do that?
It always seems like it’s going to happen but noticing that and thinking before I say anything does help me be somewhat detached from emotions letting me feel lighter! Detaching is not rude to others as I use to think. You can still listen and be compassionate…..m

After a long pause, moving on from loosing an important person in life’s journey. It’s not easy to change and lose sharing life but we do it.
I am thankful to have spent the last week in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 where life is simpler, there is no hurry and to reconnect with the beautiful scenery loving the wild birds and animals free to roam! Lots of yoga Nidra, meditation, and reading… treat yourself to something you love 💕 !

Death and dying is not something that we talk about much and possibly not think about much. But as I get older and start to say goodbye to parents, relatives, friends, coworkers it’s something that is on my mind…. Death is not in our control but practicing letting go is in our control! So dying maybe by letting go is in our control, I 💕 Tae and reading Psalms especially during Lent! 🤗

Words have such different meanings to each person, but whatever these words mean to you each one is so powerful just standalone. Thich Nhat Hanh was/is such a wise soul and I’m always moved to ponder his writings. Read the entire writing 3 times slowly to yourself or outloud. As you read it select a word or very short couple of words that really speak to you and just sit with those words thinking, pondering, for 5 minutes, then go about your day and as you do remember those words in your mind throughout the day! You will bring about a sense of inner ☮️ that will make your day! Namaste 🙏
