Spades is the winter suit. And weeks like this one often feel like a prelude, spiritual energy arriving before the actual season does.

The Ace of Spades (A♠️) is my own transformation card. It's also my oldest child's card, so I know this one well.

Like all aces, it's a new beginning. For this one, specifically, that beginning is transformation. It's one of the death and rebirth cards in the deck.

It can run secretive. A pull toward seclusion, mystery, wanting less eyes on you rather than more.
