✨ Artist Spotlight | 2026 Inked with Hope ✨

We are so excited to introduce one of our featured artists for this year's Inked with Hope — meet Art by Jo Coyle

Shifting between classic painting and tactile mixed media, Jo's work is guided by an internal "art roulette" — driven by unending curiosity, emotional depth, and a gift for finding narrative beauty in the subtle and the fleeting. Her art challenges assumptions and invites viewers into a space of nostalgia, connection, and reflection.

A Fine Art graduate of Mount St. Mary's University (2011) and a proud Freeland, MD-based artist, Jo's practice was powerfully rekindled during the pandemic and has since been celebrated in exhibitions across Baltimore and beyond — including a moving 2022 solo show dedicated to women's mental health.

A huge THANK YOU to cabi and their incredible team of stylists for making such an impact! Together, we served 47 women at the event and the giving didn't stop there. We've been able to assist an additional 13 women since, bringing our total to 60 lives touched!

None of this would have been possible without the hard work and heart of Tori Strosnider and Jessica Grieb Bair, who organized this amazing event for the SECOND year in a row. We are so grateful for you both!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Project Linus Carroll County for generously volunteering their time and talents to sew together more than 250 denim swatches created by our community last year in support of survivors of sexual abuse and assault.

These meaningful pieces will become part of a future display that honors survivors, raises awareness, and reminds our community that no one is alone. We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and for the care, compassion, and dedication shown by everyone involved.

Together, we continue to support healing, awareness, and hope for survivors in our community

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to Little Feet Child Development Center and Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County for welcoming us to perform our puppet show about how our brains and bodies react to “scary” things.

At Springboard Community Services, we know it’s important to reach children at a young age and help give them tools to support their mental wellness, emotional regulation, and coping skills in a fun and engaging way. We are grateful for community partners who help make these conversations possible!
