Indifference may be the most significant cause of failure and pain in our relationships, in our careers and in basically all areas of our lives. ••• If we exhibit apathy, callousness, carelessness, disdain, disinterest, inattention, and insensitivity towards others, through conscious and unconscious powerful actions we’re sending the message that another is unimportant to us. What our words may then attempt to say becomes irrelevant. ••• Aloof, cold and detached are not signs of commitment to another or anything for that matter. ••• It is our attention, esteem, respect, compassion, effort, and concern that make another feel loved and get all jobs done. These are the key ingredients for success in our relationships and life. ••• Love and commitment speak through actions. If our actions show admiration, appreciation, care, encouragement, action and honor, rarely does much else need to be said.

Warning long post. LOL. As I'm sitting here enjoying my morning coffee and listening to music while hearing the sound of the rain, I came across a song that I haven't heard in YEARS. I always liked the song but I never really felt the words until today. In my practice, I talk about the importance of honoring our partner's dream. But, what happens when we realize that dream can't come true. "L.A. proved too much for the man" Talk about commitment? " I'd rather live in his world, than live without him in mine" I've been sitting here listening to this song at least five times appreciating the tragedy and beauty of it. Could you ever imagine taking a midnight train from L.A. to Georgia because of your love for your partner??? Enjoy the song and leave a comment if you want to.

Love my morning coffee!!! Every once in awhile, I come across something drinking my coffee and I take the time to connect with myself. Two celebrities that have been such an influence on me and my practice are Meatloaf and Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting. I absolutely love the passion of Meatloaf, especially in this video (it's definitely worth watching!!) As far as Robin Williams, I just love the authenticity and compassion of his character. Have a grrreat Sunday and don't do that!!!
