We get this question WAY too much!

And not necessarily from the people we’d expect 🤔

Sure, patients ask this often. But so do providers! And that always shocks us! 🤯

So while we do help pregnant and postpartum folx, we also help:
✅ men
✅ gender affirming care pre & post surgery
✅ peri/menopause symptoms
✅ folx with pelvic symptoms that have nothing to do with little ones (like pain, constipation, leakage, prolapse, hip/back pain, the list goes on but NO, you don’t have to birth babies to have these issues too!)

Any of these sound like you? (Or a friend/loved one?) sounds like it’s time to give us a call!

There has been a lot of in-fighting in our field the last few weeks. If you follow many pelvic providers you may have seen it. If not here is the quick version:
A pelvic provider made a statement that questioned if internal assessment and treatment is the gold standard. Since then people have jumped in on both sides. Some of the arguments are completely distracting from the point (like no consent is the gold standard or listening is the gold standard) First, consent is required not optional! The rest of the arguments are just creating confusion for patients.

Do we perform internal work every time? NoDo we do internal work with every patient? NoCan we still make positive change without every assessing the pelvic floor internally? Absolutely! Is that the main point? Nope!So at Pelvic Pride, being knowledgeable in and able to perform an internal assessment and subsequent internal treatment will always be our gold standard. And here is our why...

Happy 3-Year Anniversary to our amazing Patient Care Coordinator, Sam! 🎉💙

For the past three years, Sam has been the friendly face, calming voice, and helping hand that makes every patient feel welcome from the moment they walk through our doors.

She keeps everything running smoothly, brings positive energy wherever she goes, and somehow always knows the best local restaurant to check out. 🍝🌮🍣(Seriously—if you need a recommendation, Sam’s your person!)

Thank you for your kindness, positivity, and all the little things you do that make such a big difference for our team and our patients!

Cheers to 3 years!! Help us celebrate Sam in the comments! 💙👇

Gender-affirming care has been part of Pelvic Pride since the beginning. 🌈

In fact, part of the reason we chose the name Pelvic Pride was to reflect our commitment to serving and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. From day one, we’ve believed that everyone deserves pelvic health care that is affirming, inclusive, and tailored to their unique goals and experiences.

We’re proud to support our transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse patients through every stage of their journey, providing care that honors who they are and helps them feel at home in their bodies.

At Pelvic Pride, inclusion isn’t an add-on—it’s foundational to who we are. 💛
