A new set of keys. A new sense of possibility.

Vehicles for Change recipient and UMMC team member, Cheryl McNeill, shares how receiving a vehicle through the Road to Relief program has transformed her daily routine. With reliable transportation, Cheryl no longer depends on rideshare apps or public transit, making her commute easier and giving her more time back each day.

By expanding access to dependable transportation, this program helps team members spend less time worrying about how they'll get to work and more time focusing on the people and priorities that matter most.

That viral weight loss trend? Doctors say it's no joke.

Some social media videos joke about getting Cyclospora to lose weight through "explosive diarrhea," but the reality is far more serious.

Cyclospora infections can cause severe watery diarrhea that lasts for weeks or even months and often requires medical treatment.

Read more from Dr. Gupta in Everyday Health to learn why experts are urging people not to dismiss the risks behind this viral trend:

A nationwide outbreak of cryptosporidiosis has resulted in cases of ‘explosive diarrhea,’ which can lead to temporary weight loss. TikTok and Instagram users are now making jokes about contracting the disease to lose weight, and doctors are concerned.
